Weekly Intermediate Class

The Intermediate Class is held at Italian Club (77 Federal St, North Hobart) on Thursday nights at 8pm.

Classes are drop in, no bookings or partner required. Card and cash payment accepted.

Class is $15 or $10 for students/concession card holders.

For those who have mastered the beginner’s level, we will focus on building your basic turns and steps into more complex combinations. We shall also work on musicality, salsa suelta footwork and other Cuban dances to enhance your ability to improvise and build a solid dance foundation. This is where it gets really fun!

What Do I Need to Know?

Intermediate students are expected to know Dile Que No, Enchufla, Exhibela, Vacila, Setenta, Sombrero and Coca Cola. We want to keep this class exhilarating and dynamic for the more experienced dancers.
