Casa Cubana is a dance group in Hobart dedicated to Cuban salsa and other latin dance styles.
Fast beats, quick steps and a Latin flair are all characteristics of salsa dancing. While it makes for a fun night out with friends, it can also be a great way to get healthy and fit and stay mentally sharp. And the best part of it is, the exercise doesn’t feel like exercise at all because you’re having so much fun doing it! So come join us at Hobart’s Home of genuine Cuban Salsa.
We are a great community who love to meet people, dance, socialise, get some exercise, or have a relaxed drink at the bar and watch other people having fun.
Whilst we specialise and teach Cuban salsa, there’s room for all styles – Cuban salsa, LA, Ballroom, bachata, merengue. Regulars, casual visitors, people from diverse range of cultures, ages and attitudes – we all come together to dance! Come along and enjoy some for yourself but be warned though, salsa can be addictive…
“Salsa is a phenomenal way to stay fit, have a great time with your friends and listen to great music.” ~ Vanessa Williams
Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or a beginner taking your first steps, salsa dancing will ignite your spirit and fill you with a sense of joy and vitality.
