Hi Rachael,
Registrations for this course have closed now. But, to answer your question, you don’t need to have done bachata before, but you do need some dance experience. There is a lot of footwork involved in this style of bachata, so I would say a fair benchmark of skill would be you need to be able to hold a basic step to music without having to think about your feet.

The 8pm is the beginners class, and it’s a drop-in class. No experience needed, just wear comfortable clothes and shoes to dance in. Cheers, nik

Hi there.
Just wear comfortable clothing and shoes that you’re comfortable to dance in. I wouldn’t wear something too open in case you get under someone else’s feet. there should be water on the tables but some bring their own. Cheers nik

My friend and I are interested in attending a Beginners class this Thursday.
Are there requirements for which shoes to wear (closed toe, heels etc) and clothing?
What else do we need to bring?
